A sporty 2020 with the Disneyland Paris Princess Run and fifth edition of the Disneyland Paris Run Weekend
2020 will be a sporty year at Disneyland Paris. Guests will be coming together for two super runDisney events: the very first edition of the Disneyland Paris Princess Run and the return of the traditional Disneyland Paris Run Weekend, which this year will be celebrating its fifth edition. runDisney events give guests of all ages unique experiences over a weekend of festivities. These events will once again include runs through Disney Parks for all levels, amazing costumes and meetings with Disney Characters, creating an incredible atmosphere.

The Disneyland Paris Princess Run and Disneyland Paris Run Weekend let guests discover the resort while taking part in runs open to all. NEW – The Disneyland Paris Princess Run from 8 to 10 May 2020
This is the first time that Disneyland Paris will be offering its guests to take part in a spring runDisney event, the very first edition of the Disneyland Paris Princess Run. This new event offers a range of runs to share with family or friends. The Disney Characters will be cheering on guests, who will leave with an exclusive medal and souvenir.
The Disney Princesses join the fun
On Saturday, 9 May 2020, guests will be immersed Under the Sea by setting off on the Disneyland Paris Princess 5K run in the heart of Disney Parks which will pay tribute to Ariel, The Little Mermaid, and her friends from the great Disney classic.
On the same day, runners can have fun during the runDisney Kids Races, which offer the following distances: 100m, 200m or 1km. They will join the Disney Princesses’ loyal friends, such as Suzy and Perla, Cinderella’s adorable mice, or Meeko, Pocahontas’ mischievous raccoon.
The following day, Sunday, 10 May 2020, Belle (Beauty and the Beast) will be joining in the Disneyland Paris Princess 8K run to give the famous song Be Our Guest it vital spark.
Challenge – Cinderella’s 70th anniversary
It was in 1950 that Disney’s great animated classic, Cinderella, was released for the first time on the big screen. To celebrate this important anniversary, athletes and challenge enthusiasts will have the opportunity to participate in the Cinderella Challenge 13K by taking part in two runs for grown-ups. Those taking part in the event will receive a new, additional medal.
Even more magic with the fifth edition of the Disneyland Paris Run Weekend
Once again this year, runners of all levels will be able to put on their trainers and head for the fifth edition of the Disneyland Paris Run Weekend. During this unmissable event, which will take place from 24-27 September 2020, sport and magic will come together for a spectacular fun weekend with iconic runs and breath-taking challenges.
Bookings for packages for the Disneyland Paris Princess Run will be available for sale online at http://run.disneylandparis.com/disneyland-paris-princess-run as of 12 December, 2019. Bookings for standalone bibs will be possible beginning of 2020.
