DISNEYLAND PARIS LAUNCHES FIRST-EVER DISNEY MUSIC FESTIVAL – RUNNING NOW UNTIL 7TH SEPTEMBER 2025

With 45 Grammy Awards1 and billions of streams, Disney and Pixar songs have become timeless anthems – celebrated across generations and performed by some of the greatest voices in music history

Now, they’re being brought to life like never before in a spectacular new live celebration at Disneyland Paris

Disney songs have a magical effect – 72% of British respondents say they make them smile, according to an exclusive IPSOS2 study. And this Festival is packed with them!

Disneyland Paris has officially launched its first-ever Disney Music Festival – a live celebration of iconic songs from Disney Animation and Pixar films, brought to life across all five lands of Disneyland Park. Part of the resort’s latest entertainment offering, the festival is included in the price of admission and runs for a limited time only, until 7th September 2025.

With a lineup of more than a dozen live concerts and musical encounters – most of which are performed multiple times a day – Disney Animation and Pixar characters take centre stage at the festival, performing alongside numerous musicians: trumpet players, violinists, percussionists. These artists perform music from classics like “The Bare Necessities” (Disney Animation’s The Jungle Book) to more contemporary hits such as “Nobody Like U” (Pixar’s Turning Red). 74% of British families surveyed consider Disneyland Paris the ideal place to celebrate Disney music, making it a must-visit spot for festivalgoers this summer (source: IPSOS2).

“Each performance at Disney Music Festival is the result of meticulous work carried out in close collaboration between Disneyland Paris’ creative teams and live musicians – such as those from Disney Music Hits Concert – ensuring the emotional power of the storytelling from Disney Animation and Pixar’s timeless classics is fully conveyed. Thanks to the expertise of Disneyland Paris’ music teams, these iconic pieces have been rearranged, offering visitors a fresh rediscovery through contemporary soundscapes,” explains Guillaume Coignard, Music Producer at Disneyland Paris.

During Disney Music Festival, Disneyland Park transforms into an open-air concert venue with multiple dedicated spaces, offering a diverse range of musical styles – from classical to pop, folk, rock, and electronic – providing an eclectic musical experience. Each land pulses to the rhythm of its own unique atmosphere: in Frontierland, Miguel’s Fiesta Latina comes alive with the vibrant energy of mariachis alongside Miguel; in Town Square, Mary Poppins and the Pearly Band – a London-style jazz orchestra – transport guests into the world of Disney’s movie Mary Poppins (1964); in Adventureland, Moana and her Musicians set the stage with the lively melodies inspired by the Pacific Islands. Over in Fantasyland, Rapunzel and Flynn offer a charming musical encounter, while in Discoveryland, the Meet Stitch experience welcomes rock’n’roll fans with a Hawaiian twist.

Thanks to the teams from the Music Department, an original composition titled “Viva la Musique” has been recorded. This signature track will be adapted into different versions used throughout the festival, seamlessly blending with each live concert and musical encounter to reflect the diverse styles and atmospheres of Disney Music Festival.

Among the must-see highlights of this rich and diverse lineup is Minnie’s Marching Band, a vibrant musical procession that strolls along Main Street, U.S.A., led by Minnie Mouse herself and her 12-piece band featuring percussion and brass. Here, guests groove to pop and modern reimaginings of iconic Disney Animation songs, including “Hakuna Matata” (Disney Animation’s The Lion King), “Into the Unknown” (Disney Animation’s Frozen 2), and the legendary tune “He’s a Pirate” from the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Another major highlight is Disney Music Hits Concert, a high-energy pop-rock live show that sets the Videopolis Theatre stage ablaze. Hosted by Chip and Dale, the concert features a six-piece band – including a drummer, bassist, two guitarists, keyboardist, and saxophonist – alongside five vocalists. Together, they bring fresh energy to Disney Animation’s and Pixar’s greatest hits, from “Friend Like Me” (Disney Animation’s Aladdin) and “You’ll Be in My Heart” (Disney Animation’s Tarzan) to “Nobody like U” (Pixar’s Turning Red) and “Try Everything” (Disney Animation’s Zootopia). A show that gets the entire audience singing along – and that’s no coincidence: according to an IPSOS2 study, 77% of British families surveyed have sung or hummed a Disney song at least once in their lives.

The Grand Orchestra Finale brings the day to a spectacular close with a breathtaking 20-minute show at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Under the direction of Mickey Mouse and his friends, nearly 89 performers – including beloved Disney Animation and Pixar characters, along with the musicians who played throughout the day – gather from all corners of Disneyland Park for a medley of Disney and Pixar songs. From Moana’s percussionists and Minnie’s marching band to the Videopolis Theatre orchestra and Miguel’s mariachis, each musical style blends to perform a symphonic rendition of the festival’s anthem, “Viva la Musique”. The celebration also features a brand-new float designed as a concert stage, welcoming the Hit Band – led by Chip & Dale, and their musicians.

“Disney Music Festival draws inspiration from what makes music so powerful: its ability to bring all generations together in a shared wave of emotion. Just like at music festivals, everyone can feel the beat of Disney and Pixar melodies, whether they are spectators or participants in this unique celebration, where music becomes a universal language full of memories,” said Matthieu Robin, Creative & Show Director.

The intergenerational appeal of Disney songs is further confirmed by an IPSOS2 study, with 84% of British families surveyed stating that these songs are timeless and enjoyed by all generations.

Additionally, Disneyland Paris offers a collection of accessories and clothing in the colours of Disney Music Festival. Festivalgoers can pick up a travel mug isotherm, a tie-dye t-shirt, or a Mickey conductor headband.

On the food side, a selection of snacks for on the go inspired by the festival’s shows and concerts will be available at various food stalls throughout Disneyland Park. Visitors can enjoy Chip & Dale brookies, Daisy Duck’s vanilla and strawberry milkshake served with a glazed donut, or indulge in sweet or savoury popcorn, all served in buckets designed after Mickey and Minnie’s outfits. A perfect blend of enjoyment and style all day long!

Through this brand-new season, Disneyland Paris enhances its offering of shows and reaffirms its status as a leader in entertainment in Europe. Music becomes the thread that ties together a vibrant summer, giving every visitor the chance to rediscover the music of Disney Animation and Pixar. This performance, like all shows and parades, is included in the Disneyland Park admission ticket, alongside Disney Stars on Parade, shows like The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands, and the brand-new nighttime spectacular, Disney Tales of Magic.

About the Survey

The results presented in this report are based on a survey conducted by Ipsos on behalf of Disneyland Paris from February 7 to 10, 2025. A sample of 3,515 Europeans aged 18 to 65, representative of the population in each country, was surveyed, including 1,003 English respondents—384 of whom have at least one child under 18 in their household. Weighting was applied based on gender, age, and region to ensure the sample composition accurately reflects the overall population of UK. The accuracy of online surveys is measured using a credibility interval due to the non-probabilistic nature of the sample. In this case, results are accurate to within ±3.8 percentage points (19 times out of 20) of what they would be if the entire English population had participated in the survey. All sample-based surveys are subject to other potential sources of error, including coverage or measurement error.
