On July 1, Disneyland Paris, in collaboration with WEConnect International and Envi School, successfully concluded the first phase of the pilot program announced last fall. This training and mentorship program aims to support the development of small and medium-sized businesses led by women. A special event was organized at the heart of the resort to mark the occasion.
A day of inspiration
Many of the 40 women-owned businesses that recently completed their training met in front of the Mickey Mouse statue at the entrance of Disneyland Paris. This symbolic moment was captured with a group photo in front of the park—a reflection of their shared journey and entrepreneurial commitment.

The participants enjoyed an afternoon filled with inspiring discussions, personal stories, and meaningful conversations focused on women in entrepreneurship.

The ceremony opened with welcome speeches by Disneyland Paris Sourcing & Procurement Vice President Sabine Boulinguez, WEConnect International President, CEO and Co-Founder Elizabeth Vazquez, and Envi School Co-founders Charlotte de Charentenay and Catherine Barba. Some members of the Disneyland Paris team also attended the event to network and meet the entrepreneurs.
A key highlight of the afternoon was providing certificates to the 40 entrepreneurs to recognize their completion of the program’s first phase, followed by shared time to reflect on their progress together.

A program designed to drive change
Launched in January, the mentorship program for women-owned businesses in France aims to help French women entrepreneurs further develop their companies. Led by WEConnect International in collaboration with Disneyland Paris and Envi School, the program is structured in two phases: an initial training phase with Envi School, followed by mentorship in the fall with Disneyland Paris leaders.
“We’re thrilled about the launch of this pilot program, the result of a valuable collaboration with WEConnect International and Envi School, which shows just how important it is to join forces to drive meaningful change,” said Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris.
Through this initiative, Disneyland Paris aims to leverage its supply chain as a catalyst for innovation and inclusion by actively supporting women-led small and medium-sized businesses, as a key factor in delivering exceptional experiences while also driving a positive social and economic impact.
