Disney VoluntEARS Week: Celebrating Volunteering at Disneyland Paris!

From June 6 to 11, 2026, Disneyland Paris dedicated an entire week to volunteering and community engagement, with a series of events designed for Cast Members, local communities and nonprofit organizations.

This year’s program took place in a meaningful context, as 2026 has been designated by the United Nations as the International Year of Volunteers.

Throughout the week, Disneyland Paris highlighted the wide range of initiatives carried out year-round across the destination, with a key moment on June 9: the Disney VoluntEARS Academy at Disney Village.

Disney VoluntEARS Week brought together six days of initiatives combining solidarity, awareness and hands-on action. Designed to raise awareness of the many ways Cast Members can get involved, the week also encouraged participation in corporate social responsibility initiatives and underscored the impact of both individual and collective contributions.

The program began on Saturday, June 6, with a day in the Disney Parks alongside nonprofit organizations and Disney VoluntEARS, followed on Sunday by a canoe-based litter collection operation on the Morin river. At the start of the week, Cast Members also helped prepare gift bags for children taking part in Disney Wish weekends as part of Disneyland Paris Wishes program. In 2025, Disneyland Paris teams helped make nearly 20 Disney Wish weekends possible, welcoming children and their families from different associations across Europe.

On June 9, the Disney VoluntEARS Academy, held at the Dome in Disney Village, marked the highlight of this year’s edition. Throughout the day, Cast Members had the opportunity to discover nonprofit booths from organizations including the French Red Cross, GIP Musée Louis Braille and the Jane Goodall Institute. They also took part in interactive workshops and connected with internal teams such as Emergency Operations. The event offered a different way to learn, explore practical forms of engagement and showcase the commitment of both Cast Members and the organizations in attendance.

The week continued with a nature-themed day for children from local communities, followed by a behind-the-scenes workshop where Cast Members helped prepare surprise gifts for hospitalized children.

For Céline Da Silva, Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility: “Volunteering is part of Disney’s DNA. Disney VoluntEARS Week shines a light on the wide range of causes we support and shows how the commitment of Disneyland Paris and each Cast Member can create real impact through meaningful actions.”

Together, these initiatives reflected values of solidarity, responsibility and cooperation, while helping strengthen team spirit and a shared sense of pride among Cast Members.

In 2025, Disney VoluntEARS contributed more than 19,000 volunteer hours to the philanthropic initiatives led by Disneyland Paris.
