Since its opening, Disneyland® Paris has constantly renewed itself to surprise its guests and exceed their expectations. Our ability to reinvent ourselves is part of our DNA: creating unforgettable memories and contributing positively every day to our Cast Members, stakeholders, suppliers, and local communities. The launch of Disney Adventure World and the opening of World of Frozen mark a key stage in our history, illustrating a profound transformation across our entire destination.

Natacha Rafalski
Présidente of Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris is currently undergoing a major transformation. What is the vision behind this evolution?
Natacha Rafalski: Since its creation, Disneyland Paris has been built upon a simple vision – bringing imagination to life and offering families a place to share moments that matter, together. On the eve of our thirty-fourth anniversary, this vision continues to guide us as the resort undergoes its greatest transformation yet. From Disney Parks to Disney Hotels and even Disney Village, all of Disneyland Paris is reimagining itself to bring guests closer to the Disney stories that have reached so many generations.
What is the goal behind this significant transformation?
N. R.: This transformation is driven by a clear ambition – imagine experiences that will leave a mark on the guests of today and for many years to come. Expectations evolve, ways of traveling change, and we want to keep surprising and inspiring people. By creating new worlds and breathing new life into ones that guests already know, we are offering a more immersive, even more heartfelt and personalized way to experience our stories.
How does this ambition fit into the company’s legacy?
N. R.: It is directly rooted in Walt Disney’s vision, which imagined places designed above all for families. His ambition was to create a space where parents and children could share quality time together and experience his stories in a completely new way. Disneyland was not simply an extension of cinema, but a new way of bringing stories to life through immersive worlds, settings, characters and experiences. This approach – deeply innovative at the time – remains at the heart of what we do. Today, we continue that tradition by constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation and immersion, offering families ever richer experiences that remain faithful to Walt Disney’s spirit and ambition.
How is this legacy reflected at Disneyland Paris?
N. R.: It is reflected in a constant commitment to creativity, quality, and attention to detail. This ambition comes to life through the work of our Imagineers, the daily dedication of our Cast Members, and the contribution of many talented individuals who help bring these worlds to life. Together, they transform a creative vision into real experiences capable of inspiring wonder and lasting memories.
How would you define the identity of the destination today?
N. R.: Disneyland Paris remains unmistakably Disney, with the power of its stories and spirit of innovation, all while being deeply rooted in local and European culture. This alliance makes our destination truly special. With the opening of World of Frozen and the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World, we’re entering a decisive new phase. We’re proud to share this new vision and open a new chapter, true to our heritage with an eye toward the future.
Who hasn’t dreamt of living out the adventures from their favorite Disney film? With Disney Adventure World, that ambition becomes a reality. Stemming from the largest expansion ever at Disneyland Paris, this reimagined park offers immersive worlds where innovation and emotion come together to bring new adventures to life. Alongside characters from Pixar Animation Studios such as Woody from Toy Story, Marvel Studios such as Spider-Man, and Walt Disney Animation Studios such as Elsa, Anna, and Olaf from Frozen, our guests become the protagonists of their own stories. To succeed in this goal, every attraction, show, and detail relies on the commitment of men and women driven by excellence and collective ambition. They shape the magic, day after day, making Disneyland Paris a place where dreams come to life and everyone enjoys unforgettable experiences.
With the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World, Disneyland Paris takes another step toward its goal of offering even more immersive experiences, tailored to the diverse expectations of a European audience.
This repositioning follows a clear strategy: broaden and diversify the Disneyland Paris experience, supported by a €2 billion investment. Complementary to Disneyland Park, rooted in classic tales and iconic lands, Disney Adventure World introduces a new offering based on adventure and exploration, through unique themed worlds — one- of-a-kind in Europe—built around Disney Animation, Pixar, and Marvel franchises.
At the center sits Adventure Way, the park’s new central avenue, guiding guests toward Adventure Bay and the surrounding immersive worlds, through a whimsical, relaxing atmosphere full of greenery. With this new offering, guests who live nearby will find different discoveries upon each return visit, while those coming from farther away will enjoy an enriched destination that deserves two or more days to fully explore.
The opening of World of Frozen* is a perfect example of how Disney Adventure World is built around iconic franchises, selected to provide immersive experiences that speak especially to European guests. Rooted in exploration and emotion, this storytelling naturally fits into the park’s creative positioning. To push the limits of immersion, Disney Adventure World relies on unprecedented innovations, such as the introduction of Olaf as a full-sized next-generation robotic character—a world first—conceived, developed, and produced by Walt Disney Imagineering and featured in the show Celebration at Arendelle.
This ambition can also be seen in the nighttime show Disney Cascade of Lights, which illuminates Adventure Bay with technology developed alongside Official Technology Provider Dronisos, combining special effects, fountains, and a choreography of more than 350 —including 100 custom aquatic drones— for an incredible visual and emotional experience.
* The Frozen franchise has been a critical and commercial success, with the first two films becoming the highest-grossing animated films at the time, generating $2.7 billion worldwide. The first film won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for Let It Go.
The momentum continues, shaping the future of Disney Adventure World. In the coming months and years, guest experiences will further expand with new immersive offerings, led by popular and complementary franchises enjoyed by all.
A family attraction inspired by Pixar’s Up, illustrating our aim to provide completely new family experiences. This marks the first time an attraction based on this beloved Pixar film is brought to life in a Disney park.
The Lion King, one of the most popular Disney Animation films among French and European audiences, will come to life in the world’s first immersive area dedicated to this iconic franchise, designed to deliver a spectacular and intergenerational experience around an unforgettable classic.
These developments reflect a strategy aimed at offering varied experiences for every generation, while positioning Disney Adventure World as a park rooted in adventure and innovation. With these new worlds, the park strengthens its role at Disneyland Paris, offering experiences where stories come to life more impressively and uniquely than ever before.
“With the expansion of Disney Adventure World, our ambition is simple: to give everyone – families and adults alike – a compelling reason to return, again and again. Local guests will discover a place that is constantly evolving, while French and international guests – especially those visiting Paris – will extend their stay to experience everything Disneyland Paris has to offer.”
Edwige Lechevalier - Senior Vice President, Commercial
Cast Members embody excellence, and thanks to their commitment, expertise, and diverse talents, they play a key role in the guest experience. More than 1,000 have joined Disney Adventure World, in addition to the 400 Imagineers who helped bring this expansion to life.
Attractions, dining, merchandise, guest flow, maintenance, horticulture, shows and more – it takes a wide range of talent to bring a park as ambitious as Disney Adventure World to life! A new profession has even been created at Disneyland Paris with this extension: a boat operator for Adventure Bay.
A unique internal mobility program
As Cast Member development is a key priority for the company, most of those involved in the expansion were selected through internal mobility and promotion. Others were hired from all over Europe as part of a Casting Tour offering 8,000 contracts to external candidates.
A sneak peek at the immersive experience
Cast Members were offered an immersive preview of Disney Adventure World. This involved new training programs built around three major themes: storytelling to offer ever more immersive experiences, roles and products to cultivate operational excellence, and the art of leadership in serving guests. About 3,500 Cast Members received more than 15,000 hours of training. Cast Members also got to immerse themselves in the new area through exclusive events; for example, testing attractions and shows during sneak previews.
"By favoring internal mobility, we wanted to give our Cast Members the chance to live a truly unique professional adventure."
Guillaume Da Cunha - Vice President, Human Resources
The magic of an immersive world comes from many details, sometimes small but equally essential!
To create the magic at Disney Adventure World, Disneyland Paris teams and Walt Disney Imagineering Paris teams worked together over four years, with more than 800 French and European craftsmen on site each day at peak activity. Global specialists in drone shows, smiths, painters, decorators, costumers – they combine handcrafted expertise with mastery of cutting-edge technologies. Nearly 400 companies contributed – 82% of them based in France and Europe.

The teamwork blending the creativity of our Imagineers alongside the expertise of French and European companies once again allows us to deliver an Immersive experience second to none, down to the smallest detail. From ancestral traditional expertise to tailor-made cutting-edge technologies, everything has come together to exceed our guests’ expectations.”
DAVID WILSON Walt Disney Imagineering Site Leader, Project Design & Delivery Executive
As the leading tourist destination in Europe*, we combine storytelling and innovation to enrich the guest experience. Beyond Disney Adventure World, all of Disneyland Paris is transforming. Shows are more innovative and creative than ever, Disney Hotels are being renovated and modernized, iconic Disneyland Park attractions are getting a refresh, and Disney Village offers new shopping and dining experiences in a reinvented setting. Everywhere, we invest toward enhancing our offering, staying true to our DNA – telling unique stories and providing memorable experiences for all generations.

Disneyland Paris is witnessing a massive transformation, designed to reinforce its appeal, continue to surprise our guests, and re-enchant their experience with every visit. This overall evolution aligns coherently with the expansion of the second park and its creative repositioning as Disney Adventure World, built around five major axes.
Immersion is the common thread of this transformation, bringing guests closer to the worlds and characters they love, so they can step inside Disney stories and experience them in new and more immersive ways throughout their stay.
Since the resort’s opening, we set the bar high to deliver unforgettable shows. Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and Disney Live Entertainment teams are constantly innovating to create more immersive and moving experiences. In 2022, Disneyland Paris became the first Disney Park to regularly use drones in its nighttime shows, celebrating its 30th Anniversary with Disney D-Light. In 2024, we set the world record for the largest aerial image of a fictional character (Mickey Mouse) formed by 1,500 drones.
That creative spirit continues today with two major productions: Disney Tales of Magic, our Disneyland Park nighttime show launched in January 2025, and Disney Cascade of Lights, premiering at the opening of the expansion, illuminating Adventure Bay in Disney Adventure World with unique technology combining water effects, projections, and first-of-their-kind aquatic drones.
Having debuted in 2025, the nighttime show Disney Tales of Magic blends cutting-edge technology, lighting effects, and fireworks to bring to life timeless stories like Disney Animation’s Cinderella and Pinocchio, as well as more recent hits like Encanto and Lilo & Stitch.
Ongoing improvement of the Disneyland Park experience
Investment to push the boundaries of creativity in entertainment
Continuous work to enhance the guest experience through an evolution in dining, digital offerings, complementary services and products
A comprehensive hotel renovation program
A reimagining of Disney Village
With 7 hotels, 5,700 rooms and suites, and 3,300 employees, Disneyland Paris offers a unique hotel model in Europe, especially designed for families and recognized as the leading hotel group among European theme parks*, the third largest hotel owner-operator in France*, and the top hotel chain in France for families*. Our hotels play a major role in extending the Disney experience beyond the parks, providing comfortable and family-friendly stays enriched with exclusive on-site activities.
In 2021, Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel became the first hotel in the world celebrating the art of the Marvel Universe. In 2024, the five-star Disneyland Hotel was reinvented around the stories of Disney royalty. Currently, the 584 bungalows at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch are being gradually replaced with new models inspired by the adventures of Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and the Junior Woodchucks, with first stays beginning in Autumn 2025. Meanwhile, Disney Sequoia Lodge began a comprehensive renovation in January 2026 to modernize the hotel and reinforce its nature-driven identity, with completely redesigned spaces and a narrative touch inspired by Walt Disney’s artistic heritage.
These developments reflect a continuous commitment to providing accommodation that extends the Disneyland Paris experience, with unique spaces where comfort, theming, and quality hospitality all contribute to the magic of the destination.
* MKG 2023 study on French and European hotels.
The bungalows at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch are being replaced to deliver a top guest experience around new stories. Standard and premium rooms are available for guests with reduced mobility, ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone.
At Disneyland Paris, the guest experience drives every decision. This priority results in close collaboration among resort teams to improve every step of the journey. It is also reflected in our ability to regularly offer new experiences tied to Disney franchises, surprising guests and building loyalty. Recent examples include new seasonal shows, unique character greetings, and expanded themed dining offers.
Technology is an essential lever for enriching the experience, for both guests and Cast Members. By putting digital offerings at the heart of our service design, we offer smoother, more personalized solutions. This includes virtual queues for Disney character encounters, digital shopping experiences, digital room keys and online hotel check-in – innovations that make guest interactions easier and more comfortable throughout their stay.
At Disneyland paris, we are undertaking a major transformation that is redefining the entire guest experience. From re-enchanting our iconic attractions to reinventing our Disney Hotels and revitalizing Disney Village, each enhancement is part of a clear ambition – to sustainably elevate our offerings, exceed expectations, and provide immersive experiences that set the standard in Europe. This dynamic is based on the creative excellence, innovation, and attention to detail that are part of Disney’s DNA.
Christophe Murphy Senior Vice President, Operations
In 2026, Disney Sequoia Lodge began a total renovation of its 1,010 rooms to elevate the guest experience, while retaining the authentic and warm ambiance that’s been its trademark since 1992. It will offer a unique escape celebrating nature, in its setting on the edge of Lake Disney. The design of the interior spaces will be completely reimagined with a more luminous and modern look, paying tribute to the beauty of nature.
Disney Village continues its transformation with new shopping and dining experiences. In 2025, Disney Glamour, Disney Style, a redesigned LEGO Store, and Deco by Disney opened their doors. For dining, Sports Bar & Lounge reopened after major renovations to deliver a fresh experience. In 2026, the makeover continues with the opening on February 17 of a new-generation McDonald’s — the largest in France — and Casa Giulia, a two-story table service Italian restaurant, while Annette’s Diner and Disney Store are also closed for several months of renovation, the latter to become Disney Wonders.
Iconic park attractions have been included in a comprehensive refresh plan, with the help of our teams’ creative and technical expertise. For example, Big Thunder Mountain has been fully renovated to maintain the quality of the experience while staying true to its roots, with restored scenery elements and animal figures. Likewise, “it’s a small world” received new hand-crafted costumes and wigs, true to the original 1992 creations, after two years of research and a year of production. At the same time, we are modernizing park infrastructures — remodeled waiting areas, covered spaces, improved and expanded terraces, new ordering terminals in restaurants — to provide an even smoother guest experience.
The ongoing transformation of Disneyland Paris truly comes to life through the positive impacts it generates. We want this transformation to benefit the area in which we operate, with enhanced appeal and dynamic, balanced development. We also want our transformation to be responsible, with concrete responses to environmental goals. Across all of our activities, we are working closely for a mutually beneficial and long-term relationship with our suppliers, fostering innovation together. We place our Cast Members squarely at the heart of everything we do, as they make a real difference for our guests, every day.
The result of a founding act signed on March 24, 1987, between The Walt Disney Company, the French State, the Île-de-France region, Seine-et-Marne department, RATP, and EpaFrance, Val d’Europe continues its urban, economic, and tourism development.
Since opening in 1992, the destination has generated nearly €120 billion* for the French economy and invested €13 billion*. Today, it accounts for 6.1% of national tourism revenue*. This momentum has driven the growth of Val d’Europe, whose population has increased sevenfold to more than 54,000 residents. The territory boasts more than 9,300 companies, including strategic locations for Deloitte, Henkel, Orange, and Crédit Agricole Brie Picardie, and supports 70,000 direct, indirect and induced jobs.
Multiple routes to the resort are offered including two RER stations, the A4 motorway, and Marne-la-Vallée –Chessy train station, France’s top TGV hub, supporting more than 40 million annual visitors**, and a hotel inventory of 12,000 rooms — the third largest in the country.

In close partnership with the State and local authorities, we have been shaping Val d’Europe for more than 30 years, always placing people at the center of its development. Building on that strong foundation, we continue to advance its expansion as a leading urban and economic hub in the heart of Europe, promoting sustainable growth, environmental responsibility, and quality of life for all.
Boris Solbach Senior Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer
In close partnership with local authorities, the Real Estate Development by Euro Disney team continues to fulfill a dual role as both an overall economic engine and a long-term urban developer. While two-thirds of development goals have been achieved, a new phase – begun in 2025 and running through 2040 – is built around five pillars: a diverse range of accommodation, local public and private facilities, diversified economic development, mobility facilitated by sustainable modes of transportation and public transportation, and environmental ambitions based on renewable energies. Upcoming projects include the opening of a digital university, student residences, coworking centers, offices and hotels. Val d’Europe is looking to the future, keeping the balance between economic vitality andquality of life for residents, Cast Members, and guests squarely in focus.
Conscious of our responsibility in the region where Disneyland Paris operates, we work to reduce our environmental footprint through a holistic approach that goes beyond our resort, taking concrete and significant steps.
Based on 2030 objectives set by The Walt Disney Company, our environmental strategy is focused on measures across five pillars: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, reducing water consumption, managing waste materials to promote a circular economy, sustainable construction, and biodiversity.
Our environmental commitment is not new – for instance, Disneyland Paris was the first theme park in Europe to build its own wastewater treatment plant in 2013, used for the watering of green spaces, cleaning walkways in our Parks, and saving more than 300,000 m³ of drinking water per year, the equivalent of 120 Olympic pools. In addition, since 2018, geothermal energy has enabled us to cover 18% of our hot water and heating needs, while also benefiting the local area.
In addition, among our recent achievements: building one of Europe’s largest photovoltaic solar plants above our guest parking lot, which since the end of 2023 has been producing 36GWh/year, equivalent to the electricity consumption of a town of 17,400 inhabitants, as well as the addition of more than 500 charging points for electric or hybrid vehicles. We also have a brand new thermofrigopump, set to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 9%* and our gas consumption by 14%*.

As a leader in European tourism, we have a responsibility to engage in holistic transformation across all our business activities, from our infrastructure to our hotels, restaurants, and merchandise. This involves the participation of all our stakeholders throughout our value chain.
Damien Audric Director of Development and Environment at Disneyland Paris
We have an important responsibility due to the scale and variety of our purchases. For more than 30 years, our three priorities have been building long-term relationships with our suppliers, supporting the local economy, and developing sustainable purchasing policies.
When selecting suppliers, Disneyland Paris prioritizes excellence in all fields: local craftsmen perpetuating historic French expertise, start-ups and top technology specialists, and renowned French and European experts. Whenever possible, we work with local businesses to support employment and reduce the carbon footprint associated with transportation. Along our value chain, we are putting in place a sustainable procurement policy that will enable us to work with suppliers who share our environmental values.
Beyond a rigorous selection process, the resort is extraordinarily attentive at cultivating high-quality working relationships with its suppliers. It’s how we’ve operated since the beginning, and it matters even more today: collaboration, mutual trust, and a long‑term perspective are essential to driving innovation together.
We have been working with Disneyland Paris since 2021. As Official Technology Supplier, we constantly push the limits of our show technologies to bring Disneyland Paris teams’ artistic projects to life. Magic has no limits! This constant challenge inspires our teams every day.
Camille Beaumont General Manager, Europe Dronisos
Our 20,000 Cast Members are our greatest strength, and we strive to provide an incomparable and inclusive work environment for them. In 2024, nearly 1,000 Cast Members had more than 30 years of seniority with the company.
As a leading employer, Disneyland Paris meets candidates from France and several European countries every year through a Casting Tour, and more than 8,000 contracts were offered from September 2025 to January 2026. Throughout their career journeys, we help Cast Members develop through tailored plans—more than 600,000 total hours of training are delivered each year and 77% of managers are promoted internally. Twelve recognition programs for excellence, performance, loyalty, engagement, and Disney heritage are also available for Cast Members.
Throughout the year, employees are part of our Disney Cast Life, a range of milestone events available just for them. They can take part in Yoga Day, our annual Cast Member Party, Christmas parties, and many other festive and sports events. They also get sneak previews of new products and invitations to movie screenings.
With 120 nationalities, we see the diversity of our Cast Members as a source of creativity and inspiration. Inclusion is at the heart of our HR policies: our Mission Handicap, Mission Seniors and employee networks such as Women@Disneyland and Disney Pride are particularly active.
Since our first agreement on gender equality in 2004, three more have followed, demonstrating our continuous approach built on concrete actions in recruitment, promotion, training, and work-life balance.
Cécile Balta Director of Recruitment, Employer Brand, Diversity & Inclusion
Giving comfort to those who need it most is a priority for us and our Cast Members. We carry out ambitious philanthropic programs in collaboration with many French and European associations.
Disneyland Paris welcomes disadvantaged families all year long, grants wishes to children facing critical illnesses and organizes festive moments with Disney Characters in hospitals to help bring children strength and hope to overcome health challenges. Disney VoluntEARS bring our commitments to life, as Cast Members dedicate their time to volunteering with more than 100 associations.
We maintain strong and long-standing partnerships with national associations such as Secours populaire français, with whom we’ve collaborated for 34 years. For example, Disneyland Paris hosted more than 8,000 beneficiaries from the association from across France throughout the summer of 2025 to enjoy our attractions, parades and shows. We also support the “Pièces Jaunes” fundraising campaign for children since 1992, and just this January, we welcomed 300 hospitalized children and their loved ones from the association. Profits from a limited-edition line of themed merchandise sold in stores were donated to the Fondation des Hôpitaux.
We’re also committed to inspiring young generations and helping them find their way. This means working with associations as well as with official organizations from the surrounding region to provide inspiration and hands-on experience, inspiring youth to imagine their futures, such as career events organized for young people on site to meet and exchange with our Cast Members.
For more than 20 years, Disneyland Paris has been a committed partner, essential to the Make-A-Wish France mission. Every wish granted for a seriously ill child at Disneyland Paris is much more than a dream come true – it’s a personally tailored escape that gives strength, joy, and hope to the whole family. These precious moments let kids simply be children – and help their emotional and physical healing.
Stéphanie Lhermitte General Manager at Make-A-Wish France
This momentum is inseparable from our surroundings and is rooted in a collective commitment driven by a shared ambition – to offer a renewed and magical experience that meets the expectations of guests today and in the future. The transformation underway is not limited to one park; it spans the entire resort.
With Disney Adventure World, a new chapter is beginning. The arrival of World of Frozen, later followed by a themed area dedicated to The Lion King, marks the reinvention of a park where more than 90% of the experiences at opening will have been reimagined. This expansion – one of the most ambitious ever undertaken at Disneyland Paris – is a turning point for the future of the destination.
At Disneyland Paris, we are entering an era where creative audacity, immersion, and innovation redefine the way guests experience Disney stories, unlike anywhere else. Our resort will be expanded, enriched and more vibrant than ever before, offering experiences unique in Europe. A destination focused on the future, capable of constantly evolving and offering every guest the most precious things that Disney magic creates — authentic emotions, wonder, joy, and memories that stand the test of time.
And the story is just beginning.
