Anna and Elsa Bring Magic to Jeanne de Flandre Hospital in Lille

On April 14 and 15, children hospitalized in the pediatric ward of Jeanne de Flandre Hospital in Lille received a surprise straight from Arendelle. As part of Disneyland Paris’ commitment to bringing magic to children who need it most, Anna and Elsa visited the hospital alongside Disney VoluntEARS for two days filled with magical encounters, creativity, and shared smiles.

Following moments with the Disney Characters, the children were invited to take part in environmental workshops organized in celebration of Earth Month. Both fun and educational, these Frozen-themed environmental activities encouraged them to explore through creative and participatory experiences about different ways to care for the planet, guided by Disney VoluntEARS.

The visit offered young patients and their families a joyful break from their daily routine at the hospital, bringing some of the magic from the recent opening of World of Frozen at the reimagined Disney Adventure World into the hospital itself.

Bringing magic to those who need it most is a priority for Disneyland Paris. Each year, hundreds of hospitalized children are welcomed to the Disney Parks. For those who are unable to travel, the magic comes directly to them through visits from Disney Characters, accompanied by Disney VoluntEARS, in pediatric wards across France and throughout Europe. Since 1992, more than 40,000 hospitalized children have been able to experience these magical moments.
