The company owes its success to its ability to find and develop a variety of talents, called Cast Members. To bring to life the Disneyland Paris magic, the company counts on the commitment and expertise of more than 19,000 Cast Members from 123 different nationalities, speaking 20 languages and filling in 500 job classification. A group of men and women work together to create exceptional, magical experiences for every guest daily. The diversity of this team is an asset and an engine of creativity.

PROFESSIONAL EQUALITY

Professional equality among men and women is a core pillar of our commitment to inclusion, with women representing 50% of all Cast Members, 41% of senior leaders and half of executive committee members – including Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris.

Disneyland Paris is committed to furthering professional equality at all levels of our business. We’ve implemented impactful policies and specific efforts against this priority to achieve measurable and consistent results. As an example, we have put a dedicated budget aside each year to reduce the historical gap in pay; we have taken steps in our talent planning process to make sure both women and men have equal possibilities for promotion; we have put in place strong processes to track return from maternity leave and equity in promotions; and in both recruitment and talent planning, we have worked to ensure equity at the top levels of our leadership team. The resort also has initiatives in place such as dedicated employee-driven groups to provide inspiration, support and engagement within the Cast Member community, as well as Cast-exclusive conferences and events which bring everyone together with inspiring guest speakers, workshops and discussions.

We place inclusion at the core of everything we do. We constantly expand how magic is created for everyone, and we encourage our cast members to be their authentic selves.

PROFESSIONAL EQUALITY INDEX

This year, Disneyland Paris once again disclosed a score of 99/100 on the annual Gender Equality Index which was established as part of the “Avenir Professionnel” law.

This is based on a combined score from five key criteria: distribution gap for individual increases (20/20), distribution gap for promotions (15/15), increases upon return from maternity leave (15/15), pay gap by age group and CSP (39/40) and balance among the ten highest earners (10/10).

French companies with more than 50 employees are required to disclose their equality index each year. This index aims to measure a company’s commitment to providing an environment based on gender equality to their employees. It follows a specific methodology measuring companies on a scale of 100 and requiring those scoring under 75 to put proactive measures in place to increase their score for the coming years.
