Get ready for a royal encounter in World of Frozen at Disneyland® Paris

On 29 March 2026, World of Frozen will open at Disney Adventure World, the new name of Walt Disney Studios® Park, offering guests a truly immersive journey into Arendelle, the beloved kingdom from Frozen. In addition to the new Frozen Ever After attraction, as well as dining and shopping experiences, guests will also have the opportunity to meet Anna and Elsa during an exclusive experience unique to Disneyland® Paris.

When guests will come to experience this royal encounter, they will feel as though they are stepping inside Arendelle Castle, whose doors will be exceptionally opened for the Snowflower Festival. As celebrations fill the kingdom, Anna and Elsa will welcome guests for private audiences within the castle.

Inside, there are a lot of references to the animated film Frozen. In the waiting area, guests will recognize several of the paintings in front of which Anna dances during the “For the First Time in Forever” sequence, including a reimagined version of Jean-Honoré Fragonard’s famous painting The Swing. On either side of the room, two facing family portraits can also be seen: one depicting Anna and Elsa as children alongside their parents, and the other showing Anna and Elsa as adults with Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf. For Emma Yeates, Senior Manager, Show Design at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, this room is particularly important: “It allows guests to truly feel transported into Arendelle Castle. From the wallpaper to the paintings, we recreated iconic elements seen in Frozen, along with portraits of members of the royal family to enhance this sense of authenticity.”

The room where the encounter takes place is just as impressive. On the beautiful painting depicting the coronation of King Agnarr, there are the royal orb and scepter, the Arendelle symbols Elsa herself wears during her own coronation. In one corner of the room, attentive guests will also recognize the clock against which young Anna leans during the song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”

“These are not the only hidden details found throughout the experience,” adds Emma Yeates. “It is full of references, to the universe of Frozen of course, and more! Our guests should keep their eyes open during their next visits…”

Rencontre Royale will open alongside World of Frozen on 29 March 2026, at Disney Adventure World.
