OUR TRANSFORMATION

As Disneyland Paris is in the midst of a major transformation, we continue to put creativity and innovation at the heart of everything we do to offer guests an ever-growing number of uniquely Disney experiences infused with the magic of storytelling.

Disneyland Paris keeps reinventing the guest experience by bringing refurbishment and landmark beautification projects to life, while leveraging new franchises, creating new entertainment experiences, and enhancing digital tools. Already visible across the resort, these changes contribute to immersing guests in their favorite stories, while reinforcing our position as a leader in Europe’s tourism industry.

When it opened in 2002, the original idea driving the creation of the second park was to give guests a behind- the-scenes look into the making of movies, animated feature films and television shows. The park concept has since evolved creatively to offer more immersive worlds. This exceptional transformation plan – which is coming to fruition thanks to a two-billion-euro investment announced in 2018 – involves the overhaul of more than 90% of Walt Disney Studios Park since its debut in 2002. At the end of its expansion journey, the park park will have roughly doubled its footprint!

As part of this signification transformation, Walt Disney Studios Park will be renamed Disney Adventure World, heralding a vibrant new chapter for Disneyland Paris. The new name will take effect in 2026, when World of Frozen, a new immersive area dedicated to the wintery world of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen comes to life.  This fresh creative vision will reach greater heights with the future construction of the world’s first themed area dedicated to The Lion King, fulfilling Disney Adventure World’s promise to deliver immersive experiences that take guests on breathtaking adventures inspired by their favorite movies!

In addition to the expansion of the second park, numerous projects are contributing to the transformation of the resort, including the creation of brand-new entertainment experiences like the awe-inspiring Disney Tales of Magic nighttime spectacular, the upcoming refurbishment of Disney Sequoia Lodge, the reimagining of Disney Village, and much more!

DISNEY ADVENTURE WORLD

2026 will mark a new chapter in the history of Disneyland Paris, with the renaming of its second park to Disney Adventure World and the launch of all-new experiences that are sure to enthrall guests of all ages!

The themed gardens of Adventure Way will be the perfect spot for magical daydreams: with its larger-than-life character satues and enchanting landscaping, the Toy Story Garden will transport guests in the world of Woody and Jessie and their pals, while offering a new way to join the fun of Toy Story Playland nearby. Guests will also enjoy strolling through the elegant Gazebo Garden that will feature beloved character statues, as a nod to England’s iconic public squares.

Adventure Way will also include Adventure Bay, a 3-hectare body of water surrounded by picturesque banks and the stylish restaurant The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, where guests will not only be able to meet Disney Princesses, but also watch the breathtaking new nighttime spectacular that will light up the central lake at night.

This all-new breathtaking nighttime show will feature an awe-inspiring combination of water screens, fountains, special effects, and never- before-seen drone choreography. Honoring its long legacy of innovation in nighttime entertainment, and in partnership with its France-based Official Technology Provider Dronisos, Disneyland Paris is also developing the first of their kind water-drones to be used just for this special show, that will bring each adventure-filled day at Disney Adventure World to a spectacular close.

In addition to being home to an all-new attraction that will bring guests on a journey alongside Anna and Elsa, this must-visit area will offer immersive shopping and dining experiences as well as the opportunity to meet the beloved sisters in person during an unforgettable royal encounter.

From the construction of the North Mountain, which rises 36 meters above the ground, to the assembly of Elsa’s Ice Palace and the completion of the work on Arendelle’s colorful facades, fjord, and neighboring landscape, World of Frozen is coming to life day by day thanks to the hard work of Disney Imagineers.

The future of Disney Adventure World is already being shaped, with the construction of an all-new family attraction inspired by the Pixar Animation film movie Up, in addition to the creation of an immersive world themed around Walt Disney Animation Studios’ film The Lion King.

Located accross from Raiponce Tangled Spin and blending the charm of family attractions with the colorful world of Up, this new experience will mark the first time an attraction inspired by this beloved film is coming to a Disney Park. The construction of this new family attraction celebrating Up and its themed garden will begin by the end of 2025, bringing the family-friendly experiences offered at Adventure Way to new heights after the opening of World of Frozen.

Construction is set to begin in Fall 2025. When the sun rises on this realm after the grand opening of World of Frozen, an all-new attraction blending a spectacular water experience with state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics® technology will plunge guests into the heart of the Pride Lands, where Simba will await them for anunforgettable adventure complete with iconic songs from the 1994 masterpiece.

After making their way to the caves beneath the 37-meter-high Pride Rock, guests will embark on a wondrous, touching, and sensationaladventure through iconic scenes and sceneries from the beloved animated movie, navigating a path with three exciting slopes, including animpressive16-meter-high descent. DISNEY VILLAGE

Located at the crossroads between Disney Parks and Disney Hotels, Disney Village invites guests to brand-new shopping and dining experiences in a modern setting. To enhance its offerings and exceed guest expectations, the retail, dining, and entertainment complex is also undergoing a complete reimagining.

With the addition of new restaurants and shops, reimagined facades and enhanced landscaping, Disney Village is turning into a modern, warm, and dynamic experience for guests.

Three new shops, (Disney Glamour, Disney Style and deco by Disney) have recently opened their doors to guests, offering a selection of ready-to-wear clothing, fashion accessories, homeware and Disney collectibles. In addition, the LEGO® Store was redesigned from the inside out and offers a reimagined experience.

But the fun doesn’t end there as many other projects are ongoing, with the reopening in the fall 2025 of Sports Bar & Lounge, and the openings in 2026 ot the italian restaurant Casa Giulia and a state-of-the-art McDonald’s restaurant.

HOTELS

The transformation plan for Disney Hotels aims to enhance guest comfort and service quality, while honoring the storytelling tradition that sets Disney apart. This approach strengthens the resort’s position as a leading hotel chain in France for families.

After the grand reopening of Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel in 2021 and the unveiling of the royally reimagined Disneyland Hotel in 2024, the next Disney Hotels that are set to receive a makeaover are Disney Davy Crockett Ranch and Disney Sequoia Lodge :

All Disney Davy Crockett Ranch cabins will gradually be replaced from 2025 to provide a modern and comfortable experience for guests, while continuing to be a haven of peace in the heart of nature, ideally located a few minutes drive away from Disney Parks. The new interior decorations are inspired by the adventures of beloved Disney Characters, such as Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, together with the Junior Woodchucks. The first set of new bungalows is available for booking since September 2025.

Starting in 2026, major refurbishment work will be carried out to enhance and elevate the experience offered at Disney Sequoia Lodge, while preserving its wooden décor along with its authentic and warm atmosphere that guests have cherished since 1992.  The design will elevate the tribute to the beauty of nature to inspiring new heights. while taking inspiration from the forests following the tradition started by Walt Disney and his team of animators. Every space, from the rooms to the lobby, as well as the shopping and dining locations, will be reinvented as an ode to wildlife, offering the perfect environment to unwind and let one’s mind wander.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

Through this ambitious transformation plan, Disneyland Paris continues to show its commitment to providing an ever more magical and spectacular guest experience. Every decision made is driven by the desire to further immerse guests in their favorite Disney stories. Additionally, the resort continually undergoes refurbishments and enhancements to add extra touches of Disney magic and elevate the overall experience.

To bring to life the Disneyland Paris magic, the company counts on the commitment and expertise of more than 19,000 Cast Members from 123 different nationalities, speaking 20 languages and filling in 500 job classification.

The transformation of Disneyland Paris is also reflected through an exceptional entertainment lineup that wows guests and industry insiders alike.

The latest addition is the breathtaking Disney Tales of Magic nighttime spectacular, launched at Disneyland Park in 2025.
