On June 10, as part of Disney VoluntEARS Week, Disneyland Paris welcomed children from the Secours Populaire association and the City of Chessy’s “L’Étoile mystérieuse” recreation center for a nature-themed day focused on environmental awareness.
Through fun, educational activities, the program introduced participants to the diversity of species around them and helped them better understand the natural phenomena they encounter in everyday life.
Guided by Disney VoluntEARS, the children took part in a variety of environmental activities. They explored the different types of trees found across the destination, learned how to identify insects, recognized bird calls, attended a show about trees, and even met Pocahontas.
Older children also took part in a scavenger hunt at Disney Village, where they were challenged to identify the environmentally responsible citizen among six characters portrayed by Disney VoluntEARS. The day concluded with an afternoon visit to the parks.
The day reflected Disneyland Paris’ ongoing commitment to inspire future generations in local communities through educational initiatives all year long.
