Since the beginning of summer 2026, new payment terminals have been gradually rolled out across both parks of Disneyland® Paris, in shops as well as food and beverage locations. In collaboration with Official Partner Visa, teams from Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, Maintenance, Information Technology, Central Workshops and Corporate Alliances & Partnerships worked hand in hand over several months to design and create these payment terminals – a first for a Disney Park.

To further enhance the immersive experience for guests visiting Disneyland Paris, considerable effort has gone into ensuring that each terminal blends seamlessly into the themed environment in which it is located. Ten unique designs have been created, each inspired by a different setting: either one of the five lands of Disneyland® Park or one of the immersive worlds of Disney Adventure World, from Avengers Campus and World of Frozen to World Premiere Plaza.

From the decorative casing to the plaque displaying the accepted payment methods, every detail has been carefully designed to reflect its surroundings. Whether sculpted in the shape of a crown for Fantasyland, engraved with a crocus flower for World of Frozen, or featuring the iconic Luxo Ball for Worlds of Pixar, no detail has been overlooked. Combining resin and aluminium, these themed casings were designed by Walt Disney Imagineering Paris in collaboration with several teams from the Central Workshops, who brought together their expertise in metalworking, engraving and painting to bring the project to life. For the occasion, the Imagineers also created on-screen animations for the terminals, including a treasure chest opening in Adventureland, or a piece of cheese mysteriously being nibbled away at La Place de Rémy.
In total, more than 500 payment terminals will be replaced across shopping and dining locations throughout Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, with the full rollout scheduled for completion in August 2026.
