Disneyland® Paris Unveils Enchanting New Holiday Decorations for Christmas

As Disney Enchanted Christmas returns for another magical season, a wave of new holiday offerings is sweeping across Disneyland® Paris! While a festive Christmas atmosphere will extend to World of Frozen in Disney Adventure World, additional new decorations developed by the teams at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris will also be installed throughout Disneyland® Park, Disney Village® and the Disney Hotels.

In Fantasyland®, Au Chalet de la Marionnette – a quick-service restaurant inspired by Pinocchio – will become a must-visit spot to warm up in a cozy and festive setting during Disney Enchanted Christmas. Brand-new decorations installed both inside and outside the restaurant will blend seamlessly with its Tyrolean-inspired architecture, creating an experience more magical than ever.

Garlands and Christmas wreaths will adorn the façade, while Christmas trees decorated with sparkling lights will be installed on the terrace, along with a charming new photo location designed as a puppet theater. At the foot of the trees, guests will be able to spot traditional toys inspired by Pinocchio characters nestled among the gift boxes.

“Our goal was to integrate these decorations harmoniously into the world of Au Chalet de la Marionnette, so we drew inspiration from Geppetto’s woodcarvings in the animated film to develop these traditional toys depicting Jiminy Cricket and Cleo the little fish,” explains Lisa Ingrassia, Show Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris.

Inside, hanging garlands and Christmas wreaths adorned with ribbons and candles will add an even cozier touch, complemented by vintage decorative elements such as an old coffee grinder and a coffee machine, in reference to the world of Lavazza, Official Partner of Disneyland Paris. Lavazza will also join in the celebrations by offering guests an experience specially created for the season.

A new indulgent and festive menu, featuring chicken served with redcurrant and cranberry sauce, baby potatoes, and a Christmas biscuit with almonds and vanilla, will further enhance the experience, along with three new winter hot beverages that will be available exclusively at Au Chalet de la Marionnette during the holiday season. Guests will thus be able to discover two coffee-based recipes, one with roasted hazelnut and the other with cinnamon roll flavour, as well as a pear-flavoured hot chocolate, all created by Lavazza and perfect for a comforting gourmet break.

In addition to the decorations, a limited-time activation centered around stars and wishes, inspired by the iconic song When You Wish Upon a Star, will be available during Disney Enchanted Christmas. With every purchase of a Lavazza hot beverage at Au Chalet de la Marionnette, each guest will receive a blue paper star inviting them to share a wish, a dream or a special thought. Once written, the star may be placed in one of the two Wish Chalets located inside and outside the restaurant. But that’s not all: a sweepstakes will also be accessible via a QR code printed on the back of each star, giving guests a chance to win a dream stay for four at Disneyland Paris, including a lunch with Disney Characters and a Disney VIP Tours experience, offered by Lavazza.

A High-Speed Christmas Celebration at the Disney Hotels

During Disney Enchanted Christmas, several Disney Hotels will also receive new holiday decorations, starting with Disney Santa Fe, which will be decked out both inside and outside with Christmas trees and garlands in the colors of Disney and Pixar’s iconic Cars franchise.

A towering Christmas tree made of tires, a nod to the world of automobiles, has been installed outdoors, complemented by natural fir trees and colorful garlands. Inside, from the lobby to the luggage area, festive décor has been put in place, including an impressive 3-meter-tall Christmas tree adorned with ribbons and Cars-inspired decorations. La Cantina and Rio Grande Bar are also joining in the celebrations, including with the theming of the restaurant’s iconic car, specially decorated with a Christmas tree.

“We collaborated with Pixar Animation Studios to develop these themed decorations so they would blend harmoniously with the world of Cars and the American Southwest design of Disney Santa Fe: cacti, checkered patterns, and the integration of Lightning McQueen and Mater all come together to create a warm holiday setting,” said Sophie Coudré, Creative Lead Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris.

At Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, the traditional giant Christmas bauble will soon be installed in front of the entrance on the Lake Disney side. This year, in honor of the theatrical release of Avengers: Doomsday on 16 December 2026, it will feature a new design depicting Doctor Doom against a green background.

Finally, the magic of the holiday season will return to Disneyland Hotel, where guests will once again enjoy an enchanting atmosphere thanks to refined and traditional decorations combining garlands, baubles and ribbons both outside and inside the hotel. The Guards of the Winter Holidays and the giant Christmas tree installed near the fireplace in the lobby will also return, joined this year by a brand-new photo location on the walkway at the throne photo spot, framed by banners in the colors of Beauty and the Beast.

Exclusive Snowflakes at Disney Village

Starting in November, new festive decorations will also appear in Disney Village. The teams at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris have imagined an exclusive and refined décor featuring Christmas trees and, above all, new giant decorative snowflakes developed with the support of Official Partner Coca-Cola and inspired by some of the most iconic Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars™ characters, which guests will have fun identifying.

“For the past few years, Disney Village has been undergoing a true transformation aimed at elevating the guest experience. That is why we also wanted to introduce entirely new decorations celebrating the joy of Christmas and the magic of winter, while also evoking stories beloved by our guests,” explained Etienne Moisy, Artistic Portfolio Coordinator at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris.

But that’s not all: new themed photo locations will also be installed throughout Disney Village, and Sports Bar & Lounge will receive new Christmas wreaths and garlands, as well as a limited-edition Coca-Cola coaster in holiday colors that will be offered to guests ordering a Coca-Cola beverage*.
